• Part time staff may work up to 24 hours per week with the opportunity to apply for full time positions after passing probation.
• Full time staff working over 30 hours per week are eligible for group benefits after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications:

• Post secondary education preferred in:
  • Developmental Services
  • Psychology
  • Social Services
  • Child and Youth
  • Corrections
• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Previous work experience in a residential setting an asset

Responsibilities:

• Assist Reena to fulfill it's mandate:
  Reena will enable people with developmental disabilities to realize their full potential by forming lifelong partnerships with individuals and their families.
• Assist clients with daily living skills
• Support clients in all areas of physical/health needs
• Assist clients in developing their communication, social and life skills
• Aid clients in the managing of their finances
• Assist clients in their leisure time activities
• Support clients with regards to the awareness of their religious background
• Help clients develop and maintain relationships with family, peers and staff.
