Breaking Down the Barriers

This Guide outlines a step-by-step process for making your synagogue accessible to people with disabilities, based on the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07.

Henson Trust

Henson Trust

Caring for a family member with a disability, and planning for their support for a whole lifetime, is a big responsibility. It poses special problems and challenges.
A trust can be an ideal solution if you want to provide some money for a relative. With a trust, your loved one can continue to receive ODSP beneŞts. The trust money can help with extra expenses such as items and services they need, and holidays.
This brochure outlines the Henson Trust, a Reena partner.

Connections

Connections, a guide to transition planning for parents of children with developental disabilities in Toronto and York Region.

Since 1973, Reena has been developing and providing community services for people who have a developmental disability. During that time, the agency has gained a well-deserved reputation for service innovation.
What makes Reena truly unique is the emphasis on providing Judaic programming and a Jewish environment for its clients, enabling them to develop spiritually and feel a connection and sense of belonging to their roots, culture and community.
Reena also encourages the expression of everyone's culture and religious roots, regardless of background or denomination.
