Charity Golf Tournament A Swinging Success!

Swinging

Tribute Communities hosted the exceptional Swinging for Reena Charity Golf Tournament on July 14, 2015 at Wooden Sticks Golf Course in Uxbridge. Thanks to the generous support of Swinging for Reena’s corporate sponsors and participants, the tournament raised over $127,000! In five years the event has raised $525,000 for Reena!

All proceeds from Swinging for Reena support Reena’s Outreach, Respite and Enrichment Programs. These programs offer families vital respite time from the 24 hour a day demands of caring for an individual with a developmental disability. At the same time, the people supported by Reena are given the opportunity to learn life skills and social skills helping them to realize their full potential.

Bryan Keshen, President and CEO of Reena, remarked: “We are grateful to Steven Libfeld and Lalita Panday of Tribute Communities for organizing this golf tournament every year. Your commitment to Reena translates into programs for more families, and improves accessibility and community integration.” Frank MacPhee, V.P. Contracts at Tribute Communities, was honoured in recognition of his leadership, dedication and support, which has been vital to the success of Swinging for Reena year after year.
