Reena and the York Region Developmental services agencies are proudly moving forward: protecting our staff and supported individuals against the COVID-19 virus.

A huge thank-you to the EMS teams from the York Region: leading and coordinating many teams across 15 developmental agencies from last Monday to this Sunday.
With incredible sensitivity, flexibility and often creativity to find the best ways to vaccine individuals with developmental disabilities effectively, efficiently and causing minimal discomfort and anxiety.
We would also like to thanks Mackenzie Health and Southlake, who are vaccinating staff from 18 agencies and other people supported.
Their sensitivity and creativity allow them to vaccinate even in vans, adapting and accommodating as needed to support our individuals.
Such team work – Reena is proud to be part of such an important initiative!
