Stuart Farb’s family and friends are taking to the ice to play in memory of Stuart, and to raise funds for Reena Foundation.
For years, Stuart Farb, his sons Guy and Philip, and a group of friends got together late Saturday nights to play hockey. It wasn’t competitive, just a way for everyone to get together and have a good time. Stuart passed away on January 9, 2012, leaving a void in the family and the circle of friends. The games are still being played but Stuart is sorely missed.
In honour of their father, Stuart’s children Guy, Jody and Philip have arranged the annual charity hockey game. Now in its 5th year, all of the regulars will again be there, playing for Stuart and for the Rebecca Farb Endowment Fund that the family formed through Reena Foundation. This fund helps support individuals with developmental disabilities at Reena.
