Join us as a volunteer at Reena, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting dignity, independence, and personal growth for people with diverse abilities. At Camp Reena, we create a nurturing summer camp experience for children, teens, and adults, tailored to meet their individual needs.
🌞 Who We Are: Since 1973, Reena has been fostering inclusion within a framework of Jewish culture and values. We prioritize the privacy and confidentiality of our Reena-supported individuals, volunteers, and staff. Therefore, any photographs you wish to add to your portfolio must be cleared by our Reena staff.
📸 The Opportunity: As a Summer Camp Photographer & Videographer, you’ll gain hands-on experience while developing your skills and portfolio. Capture both posed and action shots of our Reena-supported individuals and staff. We may provide a camera for this role.
⏰ Flexible Commitment: This role offers flexibility. You’ll be expected to attend Reena Summer Camp Programming for several hours once or twice a week between July 4th and August 25th. You don’t have to commit to the entire 8 weeks of camp.
💉 COVID-19 Safety Measures: To ensure the safety of everyone involved, all volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please provide proof of at least 3 vaccine doses before starting your placement. Additionally, if you’re over 18, a “clear” Vulnerable Sector Screening is required. Don’t worry, Reena will assist you throughout this process.
